"have you been on it"
I worked„,at the ride„„„„,
ok so basically there’s two sides. Green and Orange. Orange is more intense, green is less intense, and you have to pick which one you wanna ride. FOR SOME FUCKIN REASON, people are always like “YEA GIMME THE MORE INTENSE!!!!!”
the green side is great I can ride that all day, but the orange side, holy shit
it’s a simulator. and it simulates being rocketed off to mars. you sit inside a VERY confined capsule (horrible for claustrophobia, and even if you DON’T have claustrophobia it’s uncomfortable) with 3 other people and the ride spins 35 miles an hour, 30 seconds at a time, 4 times. (or 3, im not sure) but the spinning creates G force (2.5 g’s, it used to be 4 g’s but jesus CHRIST, NO??) and people don’t really think that’s a lot until they actually feel it? like your skin feels like it’s fucking coming off of your face. people get off and their ears and nose are numb and their chest is hurting.
this is why people have died on the ride. people with heart conditions get on (FOR REASONS I’M UNSURE OF HOLY FUCK WE HAVE SO MANY WARNINGS) and its too much for them to handle.
anyways if you keep your eyes open and focus straight ahead, you an’t tell that you’re spinning, you feel like you’re going forward. and you eel the g force. but
PEOPLE CLOSE THEIR EYES AND LOOK SIDE TO SIDE AND IT REAAALLLYYYY DISORIENTS YOU.
I had a friend look to the side while the ride was spinning and when she got off, she literally wasn’t able to walk for 3 days straight, her equilibrium had been so fucked.
